Vonnee is amazing! The class is done so well and seamless, we learned a lot of good techniques AND got to eat everything and take some home! We started with a trip to the local
market to pick up some ingredients, then went straight to the class! Afterwards you get a FULL Thai cookbook and certificate! It was one of the highlights of our trip! I really recommend everyone do this if they enjoy Thai food and a good time!

Amazing Class! Highlight of trip

Wonderful cooking experience. Vannee was a great teacher and she and her helpers were extremely well organized. The food was good, and recipe book was an unexpected plus!

A definite must-do

Started off with a tour through the (huge!) local fresh produce market, which had everything from vegetables to meats and everything in between, and a lot of it. The first guide (Meaw) spoke English perfectly, explained all the different ingredients we came across, as well as the fresh ingredients that were going into the dishes we were going to make that day (oyster sauce chicken, green curry, pad thai, mango sticky rice). The curry we made was totally from scratch - meaning we made our own curry paste!! The preparation table was a couple meters from the gas stove. We went between both stations, first chopping up the fresh produce under the expert guidance of an elderly Thai lady, who then led us through the cooking part as well. Staff moved seemlessly behind the scenes clearing the previous station as we moved with ingredients to the cooking station or vice versa. EPIC experience with AMAZING food. Highly, highly recommended if you like Thai food and/or cooking. The elderly Thai lady really keeps you in line haha so much fun!!

Great outdoor setup. I was on a G adventures tour so we were picked up
and taken to the market to pick up some fresh ingredients. market was amazing!
CHC has numerous cooking stations set up outside on a covered patio. The staff
does a great job, everything flows very smoothly. We made four dishes and then ate what we had cooked. Came away with a forty page cookbook!

Our family of four was picked up from our hotel and went directly to a local market to explore and buy some things needed. We saw how coconut milk was made first hand, which we later used for the dishes. All the selected dishes were prepared one after another and Vannee and her team were great hosts and explained all the necessary ingredienzs and steps in detail. In the end we had a perfect lunch! Great cooking class I can absoluetely recommend.
