It is not the tallest building in Bangkok, nor the most beautiful. But the view from the top is beautiful and worth visiting. I liked the idea of the rotating platform on the 84th floor, it is something unique and useful for the tired or lazy. There is also a bar on the 83rd floor, a bit outdated. The entrance ticket also includes a drink.
Quite a lot of fingerprints on the windows, they should be cleaned more often.

Nice views

I visited here during 2024, purely as the building looked amazing, and I wanted to escape from the chaos of Bangkok for a bit.

The tickets are 450 THB, and that includes a free drink on the Roof Top Bar on 83rd floor.   And that drink can be an (alcoholic) cocktail, beer, G'n'T, etc.   So, it's actually not bad value for money.

On the way up, I really thought that this was an über-posh hotel, and would love to stay in it one day.  Actually, it's not expensive to stay here, but seriously, all of the reviews say it's completely run-down, and not worth the money.

Later this year (July 2025), I'm going to give lunch a try here...  it's about 1,000 THB for lunch, and the rooftop observation deck.   Cracking value for money... let's see what the quality is like.

Worth it, but avoid the hotel

We opted for the special offer ticket of admission and drink included, which we felt was good value.  The view from the revolving deck at sunset was quite spectacular.  The bar area did lack a little atmosphere, but was nice enough with good views.  We would say that if going by public transport, it is a little out of the way from say China Town, but well worth the effort.

Head For the Sky

Stay away from this hotel. They dont respond on complaints, they dont refund a valid cancellation. Their customer service is worst i ever experienced. Over a month ago, I cancelled a reservation. They promised to refund. Today, over a month later, they dont refund. And they dont answer mails. In addition, the hotel is old, crappy and extremely dirty in the rooms.
