So, so beautiful! The interior is breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice. 
It's within the Grand Palace and you have to take off your shoes before you go to the temple so some might hesitate, please don't miss out. It is well worth exploring.

Stunningly beautiful in person

We visited the temple of the emerald Buddha whilst in a historical sights walking tour in Bangkok. In all honesty I couldn’t recommend visiting this way enough! Not only do the local guides know the best way to visit the site in order to tackle the crowds but you get soo much insight into the history and the mythology as well. We had no idea that the emerald Buddha was once housed in Chiang Mai before being relocated to Laos and then finally Bangkok - let alone has a seasonal wardrobe!

Be sure to check it out when in the city!

It’s Busy…But it’s WORTH IT!

This is the best-managed architectural and archaeological structure, renowned for its significant spiritual importance. It beautifully combines historical preservation with deep cultural meaning, making it a remarkable site to explore.

Worth visiting

The temple of the emerald buddha is an extravagance on a massive scale. The temple itself along with all it's surrounding buildings are a master stroke of opulence and beautifully crafted and detailed workmanship. The first thing that came into my head when I saw these was just how long would it of taken to build all of this? It's absolutely staggering to see and hard to describe unless you're seeing it for yourself. Every bit of detail is majestic, every building is jaw dropping, and every photo you take will not do it justice. The price of just £12 to view all that is within the Grand Palace is fantastic. One thing that you should note is unlike many other temples this is not open all day. The final entry is only at 15:30 before closure at 16:30...and you need way more than 1 hour to see everything! Not to be missed under any circumstances!

This is a the private car rental with driver service who will provide you from Leam Chabang port to sightseeing in Bangkok, the capital city in Thailand.
