The size of the waves is medium, and rideable making this beach one of the only beaches with good waves almost every day. The more advanced surfers will gather at the south end where the waves are bigger. There are plenty of surf schools and surfboard rentals lining the Kata beach.

4. Bang Tao Beach

 

The 8 km. long, peaceful beach near Laguna is great for relaxation and surfing. This beach is less crowded compared to others and makes for a perfect hideout for those wanting some peace and quiet and to catch some waves. The waves range in size and can be up to 3 meters.

Bangtao Beach is perfect for beginner surfers as the waves are not too big and offer a safe environment for those looking to catch their first wave. Bangtao Beach is an underrated beach with powdery soft sand and turquoise water making surfing at Bangtai Beach an experience you can't pass up.
